Two people called out The Chatwal, which was correct!
Culver City: Twitpic of the Week: Dorothy Diorama in Culver City

In the ever-expanding universe of Twitter, there is one particular trend @HotelChatter happens to quite enjoy: candid hotel photos. These Twitpics range from stunning views to anti-views to celebrity tomfoolery and everything in between. And we can't get enough of 'em! Every Monday, we will feature one "Twitpic of the Week" to commemorate our favorite hotel-themed snapshot. Got a favorite of your own? Want to show off your sweet suite? Send it in!

We featured this place a few years back in our Hollywood Star Map series, since this is where the Munchkins stayed during the filming of The Wizard of Oz in the 1930s.
New York: Movie About A Sex Addict Shot Multiple Scenes in (Duh) The Standard Hotel

But as it turns, out, Fassbender was just filming one of the scenes for Shame, a new movie directed by Steve McQueen that follows the life of a sex-crazed businessman (played by Fassbender) in NYC. And, not to condone such lurid behavior, but, man, this guy gets down. Like, everywhere.
Including The Standard, which beautifully sets the scene for two climactic moments in the film. The first happens inside the Boom Boom Room, where Carey Mulligan (who plays Fassbender's sister), made up a little like Marilyn Monroe,

Next Time You're Looking For Peace and Quiet, Try Not To Check Into the Same Hotel As Woody Allen

And when you're Woody Allen flying all over the world to shoot movies and attend premieres, finding time (and space) to practice can be difficult. Interestingly, Woody's never really
