If you missed last week's news about a trainer at the MGM Grand being attacked by one of the hotel's lions-in-residence, you won't want to miss this video that's popped up on You Tube.

If you've been to the MGM, you may consider the lion enclosures simply part of the scenery, but onlookers got a lot more than they bargained for last Wednesday when this attack took place.

We're glad that the trainer (not an MGM employee, but a contractor) was not seriously injured--he received stitches for the bites on his leg and was eager to return to work--but this incident raises the question: do hotel casinos really need big cats in their lobbies?

We reckon the hotel market's nearly reached saturation point with Sex and the City packages, but this one at least distinguishes itself by not being in New York. Some might say this makes it kind of irrelevant to SATC, but we don't mind since they're call it the Sex in Sin City escape package.
