Sacramento: The Citizen Hotel is Now Using Mac Minis in the Guestrooms

The Mac Minis will serve as "one-stop media portals" that connect not just to the internet but also videos on-demand and guest services. It's a fact. Doughnuts are the new cupcakes and it was only a matter of time before hotels began incorporating the yummy fried dough into their menus.

At The Equinox Resort & Spa in Manchester Village, Vermont, you can rest assured that their doughnuts are the freshest they can be as the hotel has its very own doughnut machine. And Chef Jeffrey Russell put the machine to good use immediately, concocting Vermont apple cider doughnuts which he's been giving out to guests.

The announcement has arrived and we hope it is everything you wished/speculated for.

Apple has finally revealed its plans for a competitor to the Kindle, called iPad. Hmm...we'll keep our opinions to ourselves about the name but Gizmodo has incredible live blog coverage of the event, including play-by-plays of what the iPad can do. Basically, it can do everything a laptop can do but just on a smaller screen (9.7 inches). So think of it as an extra-large iPhone, minus the phone calls.

Now, being hotel geeks, our first thought is--when can hotels start implementing these in their properties?
