Something fresh and fit is brewing at the Metropolitan London. The Hyde Park corner Hotel has just updated their classic British high tea service to encourage a healthier approach to the mid-day indulgence.

The new menu, dubbed "Afternoon De-Light", includes the typical selection of teas and fingerfoods but with a focus on fresh ingredients and exclusion of empty calories. The tiers of no-guilt goodies are all made lighter, utilizing "low fat crème fraiche, no bread for the sandwiches, fresh fruit puree instead of unrefined sugar, flour substitutes, and olive oil instead of butter."

East Melbourne: The Park Hyatt Has Another Hotel Down Under in Melbourne

We didn't know this but there's another Park Hyatt in Australia--The Park Hyatt Melbourne.

Lonely Planet describes Melbourne as an "avant-garde haven" where residents are "equally passionate about football and ballet, fashion and restaurants." It sounds like a perfect location for the uppity and expensive Park Hyatt brand.

The hotel is located on the banks of the city's Yarra River. It has 240 rooms, all of which look enormous although we're a little disappointed with the decor which really just looks like high-end manufactured Hyatt room furniture. There are no personal touches here but we bet you will like the deep-sunken tubs in each bathroom complete with TVs.
