But members of Starwood's Preferred Guest program actually get bottled water for free. (Just one and it's the cheaper Nestle kind.)
This free water perk used to be available to the elite tiers of the SPG program but now it's free to all members, even those who sign up on the spot.
New York: Hotel Rates In NYC That Are Making Us Smile Right Now

On Friday, we shared a deal we found for a hotel room in NYC going for the very reasonable rate of $115/night on Quikbook. Now, we get that this is still winter and all—aka the slow period for hotels—but that post made us stop and think to ourselves, 'Surely there are other ways to enjoy NYC without breaking the bank on a hotel room?'
And indeed, when you're willing to get a little creative, there are.
Start with Manhattan's flophouse-turned-chic-hotel, the Bowery House. Rates here start as low as $49/night for bunks and $59/night for cabins, though honestly, you may as well bite the bullet and go for one of the cabins. You'll forget all about

Singapore: One Show-off of a Hotel Pool at the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore

Look, Singapore is a hot place both literally and figuratively. If you're heading to to the Lion City for more than a couple days on business, or staying for any length of time for vacation, then you must make a decision: a hotel with an awesome pool or a hotel with no pool. Obviously we favor the former, and we've actually been in love with hotel pools since the days of browsing printed pamphlets to choose a place (no flashy website photography then!).
Our latest awesome pool find is at the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore. You'll find no waterslides or in-water chaise lounges here, however; the design is simple and sleek and all about the stepped sides.
