It was the <a href="http://www.hotelchatter.com/hotel-reviews/Pacific+Palisades+Hotel+-+A+Kimpton+Hotel/ian/123668">Pacific Palisades</a> in Vancouver, a <a href="http://www.hotelchatter.com/tag/Kimpton%20Hotels">Kimpton</a> property with a sort of funky retro beach-y vibe.
