Downtown LA blog <a href="http://brighamyen.com/2011/12/02/breaking-news-hotel-clark-to-be-reborn-as-king-and-grove-hotel-in-downtown-los-angeles/">Brigham Yen</a> found out earlier this month that indeed King & Grove would open up inside the old Hotel Clark near 4th and Hill Streets in downtown's Historic Core district (and just a few blocks away from the intended Ace Hotel.) A rep for King & Grove confirmed the scoop but was not able to release any further details. Still, Brigham Yen had noticed some renovations going on at the hotel

As if you didn't hate those 90210 plastics enough for reminding you of the mean girls in high school, they get to hang by the Figueroa Hotel pool while you freeze in the snow. Actually, the California girls were shooting scenes for an upcoming episode for the second half of the third season.

Reports of 90210's filming only identified the shooting location as a "downtown LA hotel," But thanks to On Location Vacations, we found out that cast members Jessica Lowndes and Jessica Stroup were hiding out in the Figueroa, which sits across the street from the Staples Center.
