New York: Checking Out The Room Design At Cassa Hotel and Residences

Yesterday we showed you inside the Showtime House exhibition at Cassa Hotel & Residences, but since you probably don't want to sleep in a hospital bed or Dexter's lair, today we've got a tour of the hotel's suites for you.

While you may not be able to spring for the Cassa Suite and Mia Cassa Suite--rates are around $1,500 a night for these rooms in September--these photos will still give you an idea of what the decor is like in the regular rooms. (Studios around 250 sq ft are running at a sky-high $599 a night this month, but it is high season, with Fashion Week and the US Open in town.)

Midtown's new Cassa Hotel & Residences has been open for almost two weeks now, but where are the reviews? The Cassa grapevine has been so quiet it's non-existent and we're dying to know what it's like inside that Tetris-white exterior.

We've been gazing at the futuristic exterior of Cassa Hotel and Residences for so long now, we almost forgot that we hadn't seen what the interiors would look like. Until now.

While browsing the hotel's new and improved website we noticed the words 'photo gallery' and immediately took a little click through to suss out the guest room decor. In a word? Surprising.
