Hooray! Another hotel in Manhattan! Another budget hotel, even! Even with the Tri-Pack and the others (like this fabled Element we're expecting) on the way, a tipster gave us the heads-up on a newbie in the pipeline: Courtyard by Marriott Greenwich Village.
An eagle-eyed tipster spotted this bad boy hangin' out at the bottom of the New Hotels page on the Marriott website. Supposedly in the works for November 2009 (hmmm...), this 122-room property is on its way to 181 Varick Street.
Woohoo, another big-box, generic budget hotel for NYC. Does anyone care? Anyone? Can we have somethin' new in da house, please?
