<title>Bill Marriott Reveals Blogging Protocol, We Were Almost Right</title>
<link>http://www.hotelchatter.com/story/2008/8/6/161055/3283</link>
<description>&#x3C;![CDATA[&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;img src=&#x22;http://www.hotelchatter.com/files/3/marriott_blog.png&#x22; class=&#x22;imgborder&#x22;&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;i&#x3E;Not sure how we missed this last week but we blame it on the traveling!&#x3C;/i&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;So it is widely known that &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.hotelchatter.com/tag/Bill%20Marriott&#x22;&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;Bill Marriott&#x27;s&#x3C;/b&#x3E;&#x3C;/a&#x3E; doesn&#x27;t actually blog his blog posts himself. We knew that for quite some time and Bill even went public with it on &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/25786242#25786242&#x22;&#x3E;NBC.&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;The biggest reason why Bill doesn&#x27;t blog? &#x3C;b&#x3E;He doesn&#x27;t know how to type.&#x3C;/b&#x3E; Normally, we would think that was egregious of him. A CEO of a huge company who blogs but doesn&#x27;t know how to type? Ridiculous! Yet we are obsessed with the show &#x3C;i&#x3E;Mad Men&#x3C;/i&#x3E; on AMC and it&#x27;s given us plenty of insight into office life in the 1950s/60s when Bill was just starting out in his career.&#x3C;p&#x3E; Long story</description>
