Usually around this time, we spotlight all the delicious holiday cocktails that hotels concoct for the season. Don't worry, we're not giving up the booze, but we are keeping tabs on all the wonderful, wild, and in some cases, weird Holiday Hotel Decorations that hotels put up this year. Seen some great holiday decor in a hotel recently? Send us a snapshot!
We've seen chocolate Santas and towel angels but those don't come close to the wacky sand sculptures on display at the Sheraton Waikiki.
The three sculptures were created by World Champion Sand Sculptor Thomas Koet and his partner Jill Harris.
Honolulu: Waikiki Edition's Surf And Bikini Boot Camp Will Whip Your Butt Into 2011

Then there's the matter of all that overly-indulgent, incredibly rich winter food. We're still a few weeks away from Christmas but the Waikiki Edition is thinking New Year already. Specifically, what its guests will look like in bikinis come 2011. Gulp.
But wait--the hotel is here to help, not judge. Its first four-day Surf and Bikini Boot Camp starts on January 13. And with a renowned nutritionist (Corey Coopersmith) and two-time World Longboard Champion (Daize Shayne Goodwin) behind the itinerary, you know they mean business.
The fact that the hotel is in such a pretty part of the world--and is getting good reviews since opening

Honolulu: Things Sound Predictably Crazy at Crazybox Inside The Waikiki Edition

The Waikiki Edition has been open for nearly two months and we've already gotten a ton of insider pics as to what the place looks like.
And the place just doesn't look good, it actually is good, judging from the recent reviews on TripAdvisor. The hotel has already shot up to the #4 ranking for hotels in Honolulu with mentions of outstanding hotel service at the forefront of most reviews. However, a few reviews bemoan the hotel's busy location (it's not actually on the beach and some say the intersection noise outside was too loud.)
Just about the only things we've haven't been privvy to are the hotel's spa and nightclub, Crazybox.
