A sneaky snapshot of Tudor House, still in the works in May

How long have we been waiting to say this: the Dream has come true in South Beach! Yes, Dream South Beach is open and it's already getting some stellar reviews on TripAdvisor.

But, this being Hotel Land, the dream is not yet fully realized. The rooftop pool won't be open until July, according to the hotel's Facebook page. And Geoffrey Zakarian's restaurant Tudor House is so far just serving breakfast—with lunch and dinner apparently on the way in another week or two.

It's been a long time coming with this one but it looks like the end is finally in sight. At long last, The Dream Downtown, aka The Cheesegrater, will start taking reservations on June 13.

As for when the hotel officially opens that is still TBD, according to the hotel, but it won't be too far behind. In fact, the hotel will soft open around June 15 with the official open status coming after July 5.
