Tides Riviera Maya, now the Viceroy Riviera Maya
Now that the Tides South Beach is no longer a Viceroy Hotel (it belongs to cool kid hotel brand, King & Grove), we've been wondering what would be happening to the Tides Hotel brand that Viceroy had spun-out from this iconic South Beach property. Well, today we have our answer. Sort of.
Just after the Tides Riviera Maya in Mexico finished up their sexy renovations, it was announced that the hotel is now going by the name Viceroy Riviera Maya. ]]>
It may feel like a jungle outside with this heat wave, but you can visit an actual tropical forest at the Tides Riviera Maya. Though if you wait until December to stay at the Playa Del Carmen resort, you'll be able to check out its newly renovated digs.
The all-villa resort has a lot of plans for its renovation, which will finish sometime in December. The biggest one is that it's adding 11 private luxury villas to the property and giving its existing villas—which all come with a private patio and plunge pool, outdoor shower and a thatched-palapa roof—a makeover. ]]>
The Tides Zihuantanejo
More hotel deals are afloat in Mexico, post-Swine Flu hysteria. Both The Tides Riviera Maya and Tides Zihuatanejo are offering guests who purchase one room/villa or suite, a second night room free of charge all this Summer.
Rates at the Tides Riviera Maya begin at $585 for a luxury villa while superior rooms for The Tides Zihuatanejo begin at $450 this month and at $355 from June to September.
The offer is pretty binding though as you must pay in full at time of confirmation and it's completely non-refundable or changeable and cannot be combined with any offers at the hotels. ]]>
