<title>And Now Introducing The Egg Hotel</title>
<link>http://www.hotelchatter.com/story/2009/3/13/94146/5169</link>
<description>&#x3C;![CDATA[&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;img src=&#x22;http://www.hotelchatter.com/files/1425/egghotel.jpg&#x22; class=&#x22;top&#x22;&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E; We love it when design and architectural firms go all out in creating fantasy hotel buildings like the &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.hotelchatter.com/story/2008/3/6/155725/6226/hotels/The_Death_Star_Hotel_Not_Being_Built_By_Emperor_Palpatine&#x22;&#x3E;Death Star Hotel&#x3C;/a&#x3E;, a &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.hotelchatter.com/story/2009/1/29/101832/980/hotels/Abu_Dhabi_Hyatt_to_Put_Leaning_Tower_of_Pisa_to_Shame&#x22;&#x3E;Leaning Tower of Pisa Hotel&#x3C;/a&#x3E;, and various &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.hotelchatter.com/tag/underwater%20hotels&#x22;&#x3E;underwater hotels&#x3C;/a&#x3E;. Getting them to actually rise up in the air is a whole different story but we can dream can&#x27;t we? &#x3C;p&#x3E;The latest futuristic hotel to marvel over is what we&#x27;re calling &#x3C;b&#x3E;The Egg Hotel&#x3C;/b&#x3E;, which looks like a massive silver egg and is designed to be extremely eco-friendly and nearly self-sustainable. The project, officially called Envision, was created by Michael Rosenthal Associates for &#x3C;i&#x3E;Hospitality Design&#x26;#146;s&#x3C;/i&#x3E; Radical Innovation. And it is radical alright. From the &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.inhabitat.com/2009/03/12/giant-eco-egg-skyscraper-a-conceptual-luxury-hotel/&#x22;&#x3E;Inhabitat Blog&#x3C;/a&#x3E;:&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;Operating like a living organism, the Envision</description>
