Studio Gaia has done a ton of boutique hotel interiors before (they are a fave of the <a href="http://www.hotelchatter.com/tag/thompson hotels">Thompson Hotels</a> group and <a href="http://www.hotelchatter.com/tag/w hotels">W Hotels</a>) and now they are bringing sex appeal to the Holy Land. Judging from the renderings on their website, they are doing an outdoor-meets-indoor look for the lobby/social area with lots of neutral colors but also a good amount of blues and metallics, especially in the hotel's restaurant space. Beverly Hills: Scarpetta To Open at Montage Beverly Hills on October 25

He's already opened Scarpetta inside the <a href="http://www.hotelchatter.com/story/2010/8/12/14234/3682/hotels/Peeking_Inside_Scarpetta_at_Thompson_Toronto">Thompson Toronto</a> and will do it again with a different twist for the upcoming <a href="http://www.vegaschatter.com/story/2010/2/9/173312/3350/vegas-travel/Scarpetta_Could_Open_in_Las_Vegas_in_May_2011_">Cosmopolitan Las Vegas</a>. But he's not finished. We've learned that Scarpetta will also open inside <a href="http://www.hotelchatter.com/hotel-reviews/Montage+Beverly+Hills/local/1401">The Montage Beverly Hills</a> on October 25 for dinner service only. Then starting November 1, the restaurant will be open for both for lunch and dinner. The restaurant will open in the hotel's old <a href="http://www.hotelchatter.com/story/2010/1/24/193814/755/hotels/Hit_Up_These_Hotels_for_LA_s_Own_Restaurant_Week">Parq</a> space complete with a brand-new Old Hollywood interior from Studio Gaia (who also did Scarpetta Toronto.) Seoul: Thompson Seoul is Still On; Possibly Puerto Rico Too

Last week we saw the model rooms that design firm Studio Gaia did for the upcoming Thompson Toronto hotel and thanks to an equally nerdy hotel geek, we learned that the same firm is doing Thompson Seoul.

We're actually quite surprised that Thompson is still going ahead with Seoul in these times but it is some very welcome hotel news for the hospitality industry which has of late been socked by hotel delays and canceled projects.
