Blige was holding an album release party in the Penthouse suite while the Cinema Society and DKNY were hosting a party for Woody Allen's newest movie, "Cassandra's Dream," starring Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor, on the mezzanine.<p>But isn't the rule never more than one A-list party at a time in the hotel? Guests will enter a glass elevator on street level that takes them up to the lobby. Word is there are going to be some other quirky design concepts.
