Bluefields Bay: Kick Back On Some Handmade Furniture In Jamaica

A lot of it goes in one ear and out the other. But when we learned of a resort in Jamaica that was making its own furniture, we decided it was worth a closer look.
Husband-and-wife team Braxton and Debbie Moncure stumbled upon the un-developed land of Bluefields Bay in 1981 (at the suggestion of a local friend), and quickly set about converting the property into one of Jamaica's most coveted all-inclusive luxury resorts. Now, with the help of their two kids, Houston and Rachel—plus a team of 50 locally-employed staffers—the family

Siem Reap: Siem Reap Hotel Guide :: Angkor Century Resort Goes Big

More than eight million tourists visit Angkor Wat annually. The innumerable hotels in Siem Reap, the neighboring town that houses and feeds these visitors, all seem to shout for market share. Cheapest! Priciest! Best Golf Course!
Undoubtedly, Angkor Century Resort & Spa, yells the loudest. It's by far the largest hotel in Siem Reap, in terms of the size of its ground--2.4 hectares--and its number of rooms--190. Even the swimming pool is the biggest in town, the hotel's friendly Malaysian manager informed us.

Myrtle Beach: Marriott Myrtle Beach :: "Service is Speedy and the Lobby Smells like Shea Butter"

Usually, we're turned off by hotels with excessively long names, but we'll make an exception to say nice things about the Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort & Spa at Grande Dunes, a name so long we refuse to waste the energy typing those nine words into this post again. (Get ready for lots of hotel synonyms!)
These accommodations are not designed for you to drop your bags and go spend your money elsewhere: The property has private beach access, a golf course, (this is Myrtle Beach, after all), a spa, fitness center and several restaurants; plus, rooms are sizable, there are quite a few outdoor--and one indoor--pools; service is speedy and the lobby smells like shea butter.
