We have recovered enough from the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino's Grand Opening weekend to bring you our Semi-Stream of Consciousness review about this new casino hotel on the Strip.

Sadly, the rooms were what we liked least about the hotel. The good news is everything else is rather exciting. And since Planet Hollywood has yet to reach astronomic Vegas room prices, the place is a deal for those obsessed with Hollywood culture and for anyone who enjoys good food, great shopping and a modern casino vibe.

We spent the weekend in Vegas on a very tough assignment---attending the grand opening celebration of the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

Since we live in a celeb-obsessed world where everyone seems to know the name of Britney's anti-depression "medication", we are giving you our celeb scoop first. Then the bit about the rooms and the casino will come later.
