Miami: Hampton Inn Miami-Brickell is Now Open, From $129 a Night

We knew that the Hampton Inn & Suites Miami-Brickell Downtown was going for the green, aiming for LEED-certification status. But, as this shot of one of the newcomer's guest room shows, the hotel thinks pink, too.

We kinda like those hot pink accents--and they are certainly timely since it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month--but we wonder how the straight-laced suits who bunk here while in downtown Miami on biz will like them?

One thing they will like in these cash-strapped times is the Hampton Inn Brickell's opening rates--which are as low as $129 a night this Friday.

We told you about a pink bathroom on Madison Avenue last week. Today, here's an entire room that's been hit with a rosy streak—this time, in the name of charity.

Crowne Plaza White Plains is honoring Breast Cancer Awareness month (which doesn't actually start until October, but hey) with two special pink-accented rooms that automatically donate 10 percent of the room rate to the American Cancer Society. Hard Rock Hotels Think Pink and Hawk Goods for Breast Cancer Charities

Hard Rock Hotels are going pink again this month to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Heck, the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood in Florida hotel is going all out with pink drinks, a pink pool and pink shirts for staff. Dubbed Pinktober, the monthlong celebration will raise money for the cause.

You can do your part by sleeping in one of the pink-sheeted Hard Rock rooms; 25 percent of the room rate will be donated to breast cancer research and awareness charities.
