You know how much we love Marc Jacobs around here and The Elysian Hotel in Chicago must know that too.

The hotel has just created a "Bed, Breakfast and Marc Jacobs" package that includes accommodations in an Elysian guestroom or suite; complimentary breakfast in bed (or on a private terrace if you book a suite), a Marc Jacobs beach tote and a limited edition Marc Jacobs "Chicago" towel featuring the MJ logo and its Chicago store's address, which is conveniently located within the hotel. Loves!

Rates for the package start at $415 a night and is available through Labor Day.

Paris: Merci Beaucoup! LVMH is Planning a Hotel in Paris

We just asked if anyone had ever bought hotel fashion before but we think if you stayed at the Louis Vuitton Hotel in Paris, the question wouldn't be "Did you buy something?" but rather "What did you buy?"

Alas, we're already getting ahead of ourselves here. There is no Louis Vuitton hotel in the works...yet.

On the heels of yesterday's report that LVMH would be creating a hotel collection, the Wall Street Journal says today that there is already an LVMH hotel planned for Paris inside the former La Samaritaine department store building.

Apparently celebrities have jumped the shark. This, according to celebrity designer Marc Jacobs, who has been bragging about how he doesn't want any boldfaced names at his runway show this year. It's funny then, that he would choose to have his after-party at a hotel club like the ~~Boom Boom Room~~, um QT... er, Bon Bon? atop The Standard.
