The thing about THEHotel is despite having a monopoly on boutique Vegas, guests always seemed to come away from THE feeling a little...exhausted. Not because of the all night Vegas benders, but instead exhausted from the über pretentious overuse of THE nomenclature. Las Vegas: Trump Las Vegas Gets a Not So Bad Review

We haven't heard much from the Trump International Hotel and Tower Las Vegas since it opened back in April but this week it scored a fairly positive review in the LA Times from reviewer Valli Herman.

It sounds like business has been slow since opening, as some might have predicted for an off-strip hotel with no casino. But the reviewer is confident that there are enough special features at the Trump to win the guests over in the long term.

Las Vegas: Semi Stream of Conciousness Hotel Review: The Roman Tower at Caesars

Let's get this out of the way up front, this review pertains to the Roman Tower at Caesars Palace Las Vegas Hotel.

The original Roman Tower opened in 1966 and while there has definitely been an interior update or two since the, the guest rooms in this tower feel very, um, ancient Rome -- emphasis on the ancient. Sure there are large open baths, just like in ancient Rome right? However, if you are expecting interiors from post 1982, or hair dryers from post 1982 for that matter, you best be staying at a more recently constructed Caesars tower.
