New York Mag's latest issue <a href="http://nymag.com/listings/restaurant/table-8/">mentioned the opening</a>, describing the dining room as "outfitted with a leather-clad wall, bookshelves, and a central fourteen-seat 'salt bar' featuring house-cured meats and fish," but according to the hotel staffer we spoke to, the resto didn't actually open to

This recent item in Page Six about a recent debaucherous party at the The Sunset Tower had us a bit concerned. And it's not because we are distraught over the caliber of women that How I Met Your Mother cutie Jason Segel is dating--although it does worry us quite a bit. No, what has our hotel geek radar blipping is that the Sunset Tower is looking a lot like another Hollywood hotel of lore--The Hollywood Roosevelt.

Back in 2005 the Hollywood Roosevelt was out of control with its celebrity guests and their parties. The hotel was actually the ultimate haven for A-list celebs who were still denying they had a substance abuse problem.
