We kind of admit to it, thus our immediate infatuation with the the historical hotel &#x3C;b&#x3E;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.seftonhotel.co.im/&#x22;&#x3E;The Sefton&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/b&#x3E;, a classy grand dame that holds court on the main promenade in the city of Douglas, the capital of the &#x3C;b&#x3E;Isle of Man&#x3C;/b&#x3E;. &#x3C;P&#x3E;Yes, that Isle of Man. The one that sits in the Irish Sea between Belfast and Blackpool, that prints its own stamps and pounds sterling notes (and coins!) and hosts a motorcycle race every year. &#x3C;i&#x3E;That&#x3C;/i&#x3E; Isle of Man. Who would have guessed it also had hotel properties like this? The Sefton is a truly British place, with a winter garden, chintzy rooms and proper afternoon</description>

Just over a year ago, while on a visit to the &#x3C;b&#x3E;Fond Deux Cocoa Plantation Hotel&#x3C;/b&#x3E; on the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia (see those awesome pics &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.hotelchatter.com/story/2009/11/3/124739/527/hotels/Inside_The_Fond_Doux_Cocoa_Plantation_Hotel_In_St_Lucia&#x22;&#x3E;here&#x3C;/a&#x3E;), we inadvertently trespassed on the edge of a new hotel property. Don&#x27;t worry&#x26;#151;a guard stopped us after emerging from a gingerbread-looking guardhouse. Where the heck were we? As it turns out, it was the &#x3C;b&#x3E;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.hotelchatter.com/hotel-reviews/Hotel+Chocolat/local/4783&#x22;&#x3E;Hotel Chocolat&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/b&#x3E;, which just opened February 28. &#x3C;P&#x3E;The Hotel Chocolat isn&#x27;t so named because it sounds pretty; the place is high up on the island, within the actual chocolate-producing, &#x3C;b&#x3E;18th-century Rabot cocoa estate&#x3C;/b&#x3E;.
