New York: Fuel Your Black Friday Shopping With The Paramount's Special Tasting Menu

So, instead of spending Friday in a post-turkey food coma, you've decided to hit the streets of NYC to indulge in some Black Friday deals. You brave soul, you.
Luckily, one hotel in particular has your health (kinda) in mind, and is offering a tasting menu to help you fuel up mid-splurge. And it's conveniently located: the Paramount Hotel is right near Times Square but is a haven from the mayhem.
Here's what you'll find at the Library Bar on Friday, thanks to The Dalmore Distillery and the hotel's executive chef Mark Spangenthal...

(And in case you were wondering, the theater crowd in question had just seen Billy Elliot.)
We hit up the hotel's Library Bar last weekend to celebrate a friend's birthday—and we have to say, at first we were surprised at the choice of venue. We simply had no idea who went to the Paramount these days. The celebs have moved onto The Standard and The Jane, and the hipsters to the Ace Hotel. But the good news is, if you're not into (or in) that scene and prefer something more low
