Kansas City: Stuck In Kansas City? At Least The Hyatt Has a Good View

But if you want a killer view of the skyline, check into an even-numbered room at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center.
The photo here is from room 2416.
This 40-story high-rise has your standard Hyatt set-up and mostly average amenities, but rooms come with an iPod dock alarm clock that cranks out good sound. Plus the WiFi is gratis in the large lobby area, which always makes us happy. You can walk through glass tunnels above the street to the Crown Center

New York: Hotels Near Times Square: Marriott Marquis and Its High Speed Elevators

You can walk to half of New York's attractions from here and transport is easy to reach, too.

Rooms come equipped with the Marriott Revive bed. The decor has been done up pretty recently, but it's probably not going to blow you away.
The view might though--especially from the The View Restaurant, the only revolving restaurant in the city.
Rooms are wired up for WiFi but it costs you $16.95 a day, although that includes all local and domestic telephone calls, too.

Favorite Hotel Revolving Restaurants

There is just something about having drinks and a meal whilst in slow rotation that appeals to us.
Seattle architect John Graham is the person credited with inventing the revolving restaurant when he created Honolulu's La Ronde in 1961. La Ronde is long gone, but Graham's idea really took off in big city centerpiece hotels during the eighties.
We are guessing we aren't alone in our love for epicurian circumnavigation, so here is our list of the top hotel revolving restaurants.
San Francisco: Hyatt Embarcadero: Equinox Restaurant
360-degree views of EssEff and a decent

Antalya: The Marmara Antalya's 'Revolving Loft' :: A Room With a View. And Another View. And Another View.

The Marmara Antalya, on the Mediterranean in Anatalya, Turkey, bills itself as the world's very first revolving hotel.
Talk about a room with a view. Make that multiple views. The Marmara Anatalya's "Revolving Loft" is a 24-room wing that rotates between two and 22 times every 24 hours. For those who prefer stationery digs, the hotel's 208-room main building sits perfectly still 24-7.
MORE
