Sanya: One&Only Announces Their Newest Resort in Sanya, China

The 180-room and villa hotel will sit amidst 40-acres of coconut palms and rosewood trees, offering views of Tufu Bay, a part of the South China Sea. Material used to build the luxury resorts will showcase the natural elements of Hainan while the hotel plans to "weave pieces of the island's historical tapestry" throughout the hotel's decor by using original furnishings, fabric and art made

New York: Stay? Play? Eat? Chill? You Can Do It All At The Out NYC For Only $150 a Night

That's right, due to a special opening rate (which they've cleverly called the "Coming Out" special), the first guests who stay at The Out NYC will snag rooms starting at just $150/night. Not bad!

The 152-room "straight-friendly" hotel, which opens on March 1 (but who's counting?), has fallen into our good graces with these revised openings rates, which we originally reported would hover around $229/night. Instead, $150/night for a Superior King—that's right, we're not messing around with one of those sleep share dorm-style rooms, at least not until well after the opening—is waaay more to our liking.

Autograph Adds A Few Vintage Pieces in Miami and New Orleans

Well, if it isn't Autograph Collection, inching ever closer to its goal of world hotel domination. Last month saw the brand add a second NYC property to its portfolio (the lesser-known, but architecturally striking Carlton Hotel); meanwhile, yesterday, it was announced that Autograph has picked up an additional three hotels—two in Miami and one in New Orleans.

Each of the hotels has some sort of historical significance. For example, despite a very recent opening, The Saint Hotel has actually been around since the early 1900s, and indeed, that New Orleans jazz heritage plays a big role in the hotel's artwork, public spaces, and general "Southern classic" appeal.
