While The Standard battles claims of being too sexy, another New York hotel is trying to sex up its image by starring in the new music video from synth-pop stars La Roux.

The Hotel Chelsea hardly needs any more mythologizing, but we dig La Roux and can't blame them for choosing the Chelsea to play the part of a seedy, steamy hotel in the video for "In For The Kill."

Oh lordy. If you've been shopping in Forever21 lately, then you've probably heard the annoying new song from the rapper Pitbull called "Hotel Room Service." The song is just about doing it in a hotel room. Seriously. And Pitbull will get his girl whatever he wants--sort of redefining the definition of hotel room service. (But does he tip his room service waiters?)
