Autograph Makes Its Mark With A New Hotel Magazine

True to the nature of the hotels themselvesculturally significant, beautiful, slightly artsythe stories themselves are quirky, compelling and very beautifully designed. As of tonight at midnight, rooms at <a href="http://www.hotelchatter.com/hotel-reviews/The+Carlton+on+Madison+Avenue/local/1762">The Carlton</a>, on Madison Avenue and E 29th St, will be bookable via the Autograph <a href="http://www.autograph-hotels.marriott.com/">website</a>, under the category of Boutique Chic. The Rockwell Group, who has worked on other hotels like <a href="http://www.hotelchatter.com/hotel-reviews/The+Cosmopolitan+Las+Vegas/local/1779">The Cosmopolitan</a>, <a href="http://www.hotelchatter.com/hotel-reviews/The+Ames+Hotel/local/1568">The Ames</a> and <a href="http://www.hotelchatter.com/hotel-reviews/Trump+Soho/local/274">Trump Soho</a>, revealed that The Carlton is in fact housed in a former carpet showroom. And when renovations began, they discovered not only a Tiffany style glass dome on the mezzanine level, but also exquisite mosaic flooring, which had beenas luck would have itpreserved perfectly by the carpets themselves. It's a double dose of Guess The Hotel!!

We've heard of hotel magazines before, but hotel newspapers? That's a new one. This week's Guess The Hotel features a new hotel that likes to pay homage to its neighborhood through the pages of a newspaper-style brochure. There's your first hint. More details to come on Monday, so we're not saying much else. Just know that this hotel will open soon, somewhere in the USA, and, yes, it is already taking reservations.
