And Beachcomber is definitely a more attractive name when we want to think about tropical island vacations.</p><p>But whatever you call it, it's probably pretty clear that the Tahiti Intercontinental is a place we wouldn't mind staying at. Above all, it's got a really fantastic pool, and although the restaurant food is a little pricey, most guests rave about it. Apart from being a pretty unique resort in an exotic place, and brand new to boot, it also loves infinity pools with a large one and smaller villa infinity plunge pools.
