The Dish On Our Encounter With Ian Schrager and Jonathan Tisch

Last night, we headed up to the 92nd Street Y in New York City to hear Ian Schrager in conversation with Leow's CEO Jonathan Tisch. The discussion was called "The Future of Lifestyle and Business," and we were totally psyched to geek out and gawk at the J-Man and I-Nasty. And, more importantly, we were ready and waiting to hear about what's up next for the industry from two of the most prominent and influential hoteliers in the biz.
Instead, we mostly listened to Schrager discuss his life, his past and his personal future in business.
Alright, so it was a little bit different than what we'd expected -- but still pretty fascinating.

New York: The Muse Hotel's Cocktail Challenge

Previously, the hotel hosted a drag queen party/fundraiser as a benefit for an AIDS charity.
Now it's hosting the "Mix, Match and Splash" Cocktail Challenge. The showdown will be held on March 27th at 6pm. Teams of cocktail-enthusiasts will have 30 minutes and a mystery box of mystery box of Diageo spirits and mixers to come up with a new cocktail. The winning team will have a drink named after them and served at the silverleaf tavern for the month of April.
But this is not just some hedonistic event. One-hundred percent of the entry fees will be donated to Dress for Success, a non-profit <a
