BOSTON: More Naked, Drugged-Up Guests At Mandarin Oriental Boston

Exposing yourself in your own room is sooo lame. Lobbies are where it's at now.
We're beginning to wonder: are hotel guests getting so bored cooped up in their rooms that they feel the need to take their private, behind-closed-doors activities into more public spaces like hallways and lobbies? Because it seems like that's the way things are going.
Just last week, we lost one pro skater to the netherworld of drug-induced hotel streaking. And we certainly can't forget November's Spice King incident at the Four Seasons New York. Now, Boston gets a taste of the nudie action. Specifically, at the Mandarin Oriental Boston, where one half-clothed guest reportedly assaulted an employee, then head-butted

But then again, if smoking weed and getting high on PCP are the only things on your mind, we suppose any old room with four walls and a bed will do. Which (kind of) explains how Rogers ended up naked in the 11th-floor hallway of Affinia Shelburne at 9am yesterday morning.
When neighboring guests heard yells coming from outside their rooms, they peeked out to discover Rogers, high as a kite, ripping art from the walls and proclaiming he was the son of God. Fair enough. But maybe instead, he could

New York: W Times Square Was The Last Stop For Pastor Tims

On Friday afternoon, the body of Florida megachurch pastor Zachary Tims was discovered inside his hotel room at the W Times Square after a hotel worker tried to go check his minibar. But judging from police reports, it wasn't the teeny liquor bottle-ettes that did him in.
While investigators are still determining the cause of his death, a "white powdery substance" was reportedly found inside his shorts. Tims struggled with drug addiction for years before finally founding his own church in 1996, and garnering a following of more than 8,000. According to the WSJ, the 42-year-old pastor was in town for a meeting.

You Know You're at a Hotel in Amsterdam When...

Yep, this is Amsterdam: weed and hash are tolerated, tourists indulging in such are tolerated...but the tourists with serious cases of the munchies need somewhere to sleep at night, right? Enter Amsterdam's hot hotel scene.
This is pretty much just a huge tease for next week here on HotelChatter, which will feature a slew of Amsterdam hotel photo galleries and more, but do know that this sign is not kidding. When you come to this city of canals and "coffeeshops," there's one big rule: what happens in the coffeeshop stays in the coffeeshop, especially certain things that would make Cheech & Chong quite happy, but your hotel very much not.

Putting that even more into perspective, the hotel itself has only been open for 23 months.

The City said the Jefferson County Sheriff's Drug Task Force,
