If you've been chomping at the bit to try out a Google Chromebook, the search engine's first foray into laptopdom, then you should book a room at the Ace Hotel in New York, a sceney but studious place that's perfect for digital nomads.

Cnet reports that guests who check in to the Ace from July 1 to September 30 will get a Chromebook to use during their stay. Bummer that it's just for three months but maybe if this pilot program goes well, the Ace will keep the Chromebooks on hand for good.

The competition for the latest hotel technology is fierce these days and not wanting to be left behind, The Lanesborough in London is adding more tech offerings to their guestrooms (they already feature in-room laptops) by installing a Mac mini unit in every guest room instead.

The system is easy to use and provides improved access to TV shows, movies, photos, and the web. Our favourite feature is fact that you can view the latest movies free of charge and we all love a freebie. Let’s just hope they don't follow Marriott who ditched the porn last week. The other day after our story about where to find Hotels with iMacs we ended up cruising our local Apple store to check out said products.

And while we were browsing through the computer's personal email--registered to one "Johnny Appleseed"--we discovered a reservations confirmation from The Tribeca Grand Hotel. Interestingly enough, this hotel was on our list of where to find hotels with iMacs. Which leads us to wonder if the iStudio suite is somehow in someway sponsored by Apple? Seems pretty likely huh?
