Of course, there are limitations; the car will only bring you within a five-mile radius of the hotel. That may not seem like a lot, but if you are directionally challenged, it's helpful to have someone drive you to a destination. And if you're arranging for a rehearsal dinner, you can save money on renting a trolley and instead transport your wedding party in the free seven-seat vehicles instead. Of course, if we were spending $15,000 a night for a three-night minimum, wed want a Bentley golf cart to ferry us around the property tooif not an actual Bentley. Cant pony up the cash for the Casa Elar? Dont worry. This car is funny. This bad boy belongs to <A href="http://www.hotelchatter.com/hotel-reviews/Park+Inn+Heathrow/ian/200713">Park Inn Heathrow</a>, and it was snapped by recent guest <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/76257358@N00/3552487248/in/photostream/">Michael Coleman</a> who says, "Hotel seemed to have a small fleet of minis - don't know why. Seem a bit impractical if people have luggage?" Hmm, yeah. Kinda. We're not so sure what they use these little buggers for, though the hotel's website specifically mentions guests should take the "Hoppa bus to and from the airport" (oh, and "with reasonable charges") and when we called the hotel rezzie line, we were told that guests can't rent these out. Granted that it's a day late in showing up, which leads us to think that this might be a one-day only deal because of the weather. Light rain now falls on both the Tesla Model S (the white one) and the Tesla Roadster (the hot little red number), and yet the curious continue to approach for cell phone snaps and quick chats with the Tesla representatives. Luckily we snapped our pictures before the Tesla reps surrounded the cars with stanchions. Instead of packing a convention center with the newest gas-guzzlers, the city will have one of the Tesla Model S electric cars on display for two days in the lobby of <a href="http://www.hotelchatter.com/hotel-reviews/The+Plaza/ian/105314">The Plaza Hotel</a>. Although we definitely don't equate eco-friendly innovation with The Plaza, the fact that they're allowing Tesla to squat in their opulent digs raises our opinion of the place a tad.
