Hawthorn Suites New Website Features Guest Reviews and Ratings

These are gathered from the brand's electronic surveys. From the official press release, Allison Solomon, VP of Electronic Marketing and Distribution for US Franchise Systems, Inc says:<blockquote> "Today's travelers are seeking the advice of their peers. By adding guest reviews and ratings to our hotel information, we're ensuring a balance of facts and opinions so that guests are secure in their decision to stay at Hawthorn Suites."</blockquote>Naturally, we were curious to see what kind of reviews would be posted. So we checked out the site for the Hawthorn Suites in <a href="http://hawthorn.com/reservations/locationdetail.asp?facid=1158">Manhattan Beach near LAX</a> and found this

Wyndham Hotels Scoop Up Microtel Inns and Hawthorn Suites

Wyndham Hotels will be adding two new brands to its company portfolio.

The company is set to buy the Microtel and Hawthorn Suites brand from US Franchis e Systems, a division of Global Hyatt.

Microtel includes 292 economy hotels, with 38 more under construction. Wyndham is entering the all-suites, extended-stay market with the addition of the 91-hotel Hawthorn Suites chain.

Let's just hope Wyndham keeps the free internet that we love to get at both of these brands.

Dubai: Hawthorn Suites Does Dubai

After the holy month of Ramadan, Hawthorn Suites will join the never ending hotel party and open the Hawthorn Hotel Deira one mile from the Dubai International Airport.

Hotel Deira has nine floors with 133 rooms, including 21 suites. All hotel rooms and suites will offer high speed Internet access.

And it looks like Dubai is jumping on the rooftop pool bandwagon, as the Hawthorn will have a up high pool. Airport pick-up and drop-off will be complimentary.

What golden tulips, or faux palm islands with this one?
