San Diego: Rancho Bernardo Inn Celebrates Halloween with a Haunted House and S'Mores

If you're looking for some last-minute Halloween plans, San Diego's Rancho Bernardo Inn is throwing a spooky holiday bash—but not too spooky that it'll scare the kids away—complete with a haunted house, trick-or-treating and, of course, lots and lots of sugar.
The hotel's hosting its first Halloween at the Inn event on Oct. 30 and 31 with a Not-Too-Scary Haunted House ($9), which targets little ones who love the chills of Halloween but are easily rattled. Kids can dress up to enter a costume contest and to trick-or-treat on the hotel's property. They'll also have the chance to get their faces painted and do some pumpkin decorating.

San Diego: Hyatt Regency Mission Bay is Throwing Kids a Poolside Halloween Party

The hotel's three water slides will get a scary twist with haunted music accompaniment and creepy lights. While you're in the water, you can watch The Nightmare Before Christmas, which will be screened near the pool. There'll also be a "Monster Mash" hula-hoop contest and fireside stories as

Right. Well, two out of three ain't bad.
