<description>&#x3C;![CDATA[&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;img src=&#x22;http://www.hotelchatter.com/files/admin/nyt_hotelbeds.jpg&#x22; class=&#x22;imgborder&#x22;/&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;Last weekend, while we were taking in the exhibit &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.50000beds.net/&#x22;&#x3E;50,000 Beds&#x3C;/a&#x3E; at the &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.aldrichart.org/&#x22;&#x3E;Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art&#x3C;/a&#x3E; in Ridgefield, Connecticut, we heard a fitting variation on the line, &#x22;I&#x27;d rather be in Philadelphia.&#x22; As we watched one of the exhibit&#x27;s videos, all shot in rooms in Connecticut hotels and B&#x26;amp;B&#x27;s, waiting and waiting and waiting for it to resonate, a fellow museum-goer uttered, &#x22;I don&#x27;t understand any of this. I&#x27;d rather be at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, looking at the Rembrandts.&#x22; &#x3C;p&#x3E;We&#x27;re not sure we would go that far. The Philadelphia Museum of Art, yes. Rembrandt, not so sure. But the point is well taken. This exhibit is, in a word, unsettling. The brainchild</description>
