ME Cancún, a Sol Mélia resort, is a hotel that is sort of ... well, meh (or shall we say, "MEh"). As we discovered last year, there are plenty of good things about the resort — as we said, pretty people, pretty views, and pretty nice furniture — but there isn't really anything distinguishing it from the properties around it in Cancun.

However. Unbeknownst to us until recently, the 22nd season of MTV's The Real World is already wrapping up filming in sweet, sweet Mexico (thanks, Jaunted!) and guess where the 7-ish strangers picked to live in a house will be living? The ME Cancun. Oh yes.

Room service is prompt, the pool offers separate areas for adults and kids (the hotel caters to adults, but occasionally those adults bring children), and the front desk staff is friendly, helpful, and good looking, if not a little slow in checking guests in and out. Hotel infinity pools are our newest water lust. These swimming pools produce a visual effect of water extending to the horizon, vanishing, or extending to infinity and beyond.

These style pools are often very expensive and can cost over $100,000 to install.

These pools are mainly for adults, and are not particularly "child friendly". Cannonballs and vanishing edges are not particularly compatible. In any event, we to satiate our water crush we put together our quick bullet list of our favorite infinity pools.
