Six Hotels Jobs That Are Way Cooler Than Yours

We’re pretty content with our current gig--traveling the world and checking out the coolest hotels--but every so often we wonder what it would be like if we just stopped the madness and settled down in one place. But we don't think we're cut out for any ole' desk job, so we started the thinking about some of the more hotel services we’ve come across in the course of our stories, and the people who perform them.
Lo and behold, we've found six of the coolest hotel jobs--in-house chocolatier, whisky sommelier, and romance specialist among them--that almost make us want to trade in our laptops for a hotel uniform (designer one, of course.)

The first-ever St. Regis resort on Hawaii, the Kauai resort is finishing up a multi-million dollar renovation that includes a new Halele’a Spa, golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones II, and a new resto—called Kaua’I Grill—by Jean-Georges Vongerichten.

To ring in the good news, the 252-room St. Regis Princeville is launching the Quintessential Celebration Series, a four-part guest party through October and November.
Kauai: The St. Regis Princeville Resort Will Now Re-Open in October

The hotel, previously known as the Princeville Resort, closed back in September to undergo some massive renovations. Pretty much everything has been redone including the hotel's killer pool area.
But all is not well in paradise. The hotel was set to open on April 19 but was pushed back as construction won't even be completed until sometime in July. And Hawaii is going through an incredibly rough time right now.
The Best Hotel Infinity Pools

These swimming pools produce a visual effect of water extending to the horizon, vanishing, or extending to infinity and beyond.
These style pools are often very expensive and can cost over $100,000 to install.
These pools are mainly for adults, and are not particularly "child friendly". Cannonballs and vanishing edges are not particularly compatible. In any event, we to satiate our water crush we put together our quick bullet list of our favorite infinity pools.
The best hotel infinity pools are here.
