There are two Andazs on tap for NYC but those projects are taking forever.
But here in LA we only have to wait a few months to experience the Andaz stateside.

Beginning with a dramatic glass garden pavilion set off the main entrance, the hotel will showcase a commissioned cascading hand-painted metal disk 11-foot sculpture by renowned New York-based artist Jacob Hashimoto....
The hotel will boast spectacular panoramic views of the Hollywood Hills on

The opening party, much like the hotel itself, was a lavishly decadent affair, with meticulous attention paid to every last detail- lucky party-goers even went home with a complimentary bottle of French champagne. After gorging ourselves on the provided oysters, sushi and champagne, we took a grand tour of the new Andaz and permanent installations comprising works from some of the East end's most exciting modern artists.
The Guggenheim-inspired staircase
