So there's no hopping from New York to Vegas, unless you gift your special someone with two gift certificates.
Since we're not so keen on the Trump Las Vegas, we say you might be best either at the Trump Chicago, which just opened last year or bide your time for Trump Soho, opening February 1st. You spent a couple dozen months cruising around listening to Pink's "Get This Party Started," taking extra care around the line "I be lookin' flashy in my Mercedes-Benz." But then the economy tanked and all you have is a two-year-old Mercedes-Benz and not much else — except the satisfaction of knowing you are part of an elite group of car owners who nod to each other in parking lots and at stoplights with the ol' acknowledgment of being brothers in Benz ownership.
Well, now you've got a little somethin'

With only its 227-foot spire keeping the Trump from its designation as the nation's second-tallest building after the Sears Tower (also pictured), it seemed so silly to have to wait weeks for an antenna.
After the initial failed attempt on December 14, the Coast Guard and FAA waited for calm weather to return, and return it did with 2009. On January 2, streets surrounding the Tower were closed off and all of downtown gazed upward as the eight massive pieces of the spire came together with the help of

The entrance is simple and indistinguishable from the other all-glass buildings of downtown Chicago. Just inside the doors sits a modest reception desk for hotel guests, while condo owners enter into their own similar vestibule off to the right. Beyond this is a two-story expanse of windows forming one wall of the smallish lobby.
