Parking will cost you $40 a day, driving in and around the Square is painful, and once you get past all the pretty shops you begin to notice a staggering number of homeless folks as you head up to the theatre district

The Hotel Del Sol is currently offering a free upgrade to a suite if you mention the "Neighborhood Special" Also, every Friday between 3 and 6 PM, there is a barbeque in the courtyard with free drinks and free food. The offer expires 6/30/2004.

If you've ever been on Lombard Street in San Francisco, you've seen the Hotel Del Sol, never mind that it is actually a block away, on Greenwich. With its bright yellow facade, orange trim, and multi-color awning, the property is impossible to miss. Understated, it's not, but it gets a lot of points for style on an otherwise drab street.
