<description><![CDATA[<p><img src="http://www.hotelchatter.com/files/1425/vjdaykiss.jpg" class="top"><p> This Saturday, August 14, marks the 65th anniversary of the end of World War II and also the anniversary of the <a href="http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/06/23/AR2010062305311.html">iconic kiss</a> between a sailor and a nurse in the middle of Times Square which was capture by LIFE magazine photographer, Alfred Eisenstaedt. <p>The nurse in the photo, Edith Shain, passed away <a href="http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/06/23/AR2010062305311.html">in June</a> and the sailor has never been identified but their moment in time has lived on.
