File this under "Cool Amenities." When we stayed at The Hard Rock San Diego last month, we were asked upon check-in what music we liked. We responded with "Rap and Hip-Hop, why?" And the front desk told us that genre of music was now playing in our room. Which we hadn't even entered yet!

Sure enough, when we made our way up there, Snoop Dogg was playing through both of the flat-screen TVs via the cable music channels. Then we promptly mixed up some gin and juice and laaaaaaaid-baaaack.
