New York: The Five Best Hotels for the 2009 Macy's Thanksgiving Parade

This is our fourth installment and while last year's choices and anything in the vicinity of Times Square still holds true, we decided to do away with the old and bring in some new choices. And it looks like the Macy's Day parade will be trying something new itself on November 26th.
This year the parade will go down 7th Avenue instead of the old Broadway. The start will still kick off at 77th and Central Park West.
Sadly, the cast of Glee will not be performing at the parade, a lame decision

New York: The Bryant Park's Cellar Bar is Perfect for Vampire Lovers

Not coming here after dark. Vampires will be out.

The Cellar Bar can be found in the basement of the Bryant Park Hotel in New York. When you've found the vampire of your choice, you can take him or her up to your room and experiment with Booty Parlour toys. Sorry no synthetic blood is served here.
Speaking of "True Blood" and hotels, did anyone catch the Vampire Hotel in Dallas that

New York: Surprisingly, Hotel Guests Are Willing to Drop Big Bucks on Sexy Toys

We've asked you this question a few times before — and, frankly, barring some sort of heat-of-the-moment emergency, we're not so sure we would drop some major dough to dig into a fancy-schmancy hotel's sex kit. We've discussed this before.
But there are people out there who, it seems, are willing to fork over a bunch of money for the activities that precede spooning sessions (see what we did there?): the Bryant Park Hotel Twitter reports:

One of our guests last night purchased $1,975 from our pleasure chest sex toy menu- WOW

Yes, that

New York: Drink and Park on the Cheap at Bryant Park Hotel

Well, not exactly. They do keep the drinking and driving (read: parking) deals separate. During the work week, the overly stressed and recession fearing can over indulge in a three-hour happy hour starting at 5pm in the Cellar Bar (above). (The hotel's website says bad boys and girls go here to be discreetly naughty and listen to DJs spinning an eclectic mix of sounds.)
Come the weekend, the over-the-top lucky, or, bridge & tunnel crowd can take advantage of the shockingly kind (by New York City standards) complimentary valet parking on Friday and Saturday nights. So no need to worry about DWIs! The catch?
