A while back we put the Las Vegas Hilton on the Crapping Out tier of our Viva Las Vegas Hotel Map mostly for bad location, the nerdy Star Trek Experience and outdated decor.

But we almost reconsidered this after learning out that you can get free WiFi there as well as some decent rates.

Now, we have a first person review from a reader who was extremely disappointed by the Las Vegas Hilton. But for different reasons than we would expect. So where does this hotel stand?

As one reviewer put it:<blockquote><p>My first visit to this hotel was in 1980. Back then this was a special place. Even the pool was one of the best back then. Unfortunately, it's still the same! A lot has changed since then, just not at the Hilton.
