Are Yotels Really the Best Business Hotels?

Really? We get it that Yotels can have very convenient locations (that is to say, at airports), and the price is a lot cheaper than fancier hotels. But the best business hotel? In our informal street survey of a few average business people, they certainly didn't agree--sorry, company bosses, but our contacts were after bigger and quieter rooms if the company's paying.
Just the same, the Yotel concept has some real positives going for it, so we say congrats to them for picking up

(And if you are, well, good fer you.)

If you’re like those of us tacking on a vacation to a business trip abroad—how else is there to afford a vaca?—you might want to check out Yotel’s “Stay to Ski” deal at its Heathrow and Gatwick properties.

On Friday through Sunday nights between now and April 2009 (the “end of ski season,” according to Yotel, hence the name of the promotion), the budget friendly chain is offering nightly rates of $75 for standard cabins and $100 for premium cabins.
Amsterdam: Yotel Schiphol is Coming This September

But judging by the amount of enquiries we've had already the new YOTEL is very much good news for travellers through Amsterdam.

Amsterdam's Schiphol airport is going to be THE place to stay pretty soon,

London: Yotel at Heathrow Airport Opening Tomorrow

We're used to things moving slower than planned in the world of Yotels, or perhaps for hotels in general. After the capsule-extraordinaire style Yotel Gatwick finally opened up earlier this year, we had been expecting the new Yotel Heathrow to be hot on its heels. We were once even reporting that it'd be open in summer. Yep, the summer that's definitely finished now.

But don't worry, it's all exciting now: the Yotel Heathrow is taking bookings. And it will open very soon: tomorrow, in fact! The new capsule hotel inside Terminal 4 at Heathrow airport is, like the Gatwick Yotel, bookable for a minimum of 4-hour blocks. There are 32 cabins, both premium and standard,
