Hmm...we guess our notice about the package being canceled must have gotten lost in the mail. But hotel's pr firm did confirm this for us as well today.
As we stated back then, the package was available for Sunday nights from August 16 to November 8, starting at $895 for a whole of Mad Men-inspired amenities. And did you know he used to walk his pet ocelot through the halls on a leash?
And did you know Dali was a huge baller? Rumor has it, ol' Sal threw wild, lavish parties in the hotel's marbled gallery and second-floor salons. Also, he used to hire models in super-low-backed dresses and asked them to walk around his hotel suite as "living art" (how Hugh Hefner of him!)
Apparently, no guests took issue with the parties or the ocelot, but at some point he managed to procure a bear somehow
