<title>New York: A Time When The Carlyle Offered &#x27;Transient and Residential Accommodations&#x27;</title>

<title>Would You Name Your Child After a Hotel?</title>

(They googled old-fashioned girl names and came up with Hattie. Hopefully no one is naming their child &#x22;Twitter&#x22; or &#x22;Occupy&#x22; anytime soon.) &#x3C;p&#x3E;But according to director &#x3C;b&#x3E;Ron Howard&#x3C;/b&#x3E;, there&#x27;s another inspiration for children&#x27;s names--&#x3C;B&#x3E;HOTELS&#x3C;/B&#x3E;.&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.nypost.com/p/pagesix/what_in_name_ggujWOlhT1JxKr771ZM63H&#x22;&#x3E;Page Six&#x3C;/a&#x3E; learned that Howard gave his two twin daughters the middle name, &#x3C;b&#x3E; Carlyle&#x3C;/b&#x3E; as in &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.hotelchatter.com/hotel-reviews/The+Carlyle+New+York/local/627&#x22;&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;The Carlyle Hotel&#x3C;/b&#x3E;&#x3C;/a&#x3E; on the Upper East Side</description>

Um, well, it does &#x26;#151; and it&#x27;s huge. And expensive. And the New York Observer got itself a hot little tour of the place and published pics of it &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.observer.com/2009/slideshow/111257/roger-federer-suite&#x22;&#x3E;here&#x3C;/a&#x3E;. &#x3C;p&#x3E;Up on the 16th floor of the luxe NY hotel lies a two-bedroom suite that costs $3,075 a night, and it has been where the ultra-hunky champ has called home while he&#x27;s played in each U.S. Open since 2007 (we know he usually prefers to hit up the Four Seasons otherwise).
