We are counting down to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, trying to shape up like the annoying red-clad woman in the Target commercials. Okay, not really. There's no need to train our fingers to fly across the keyboard to snatch up great hotel deals because there are a bunch out there, like these and these. A lot of hotels talk about giving back to their local communities so it's always nice to see this type of involvement actually happening. Kor Hotels is the latest hotel group to do so.
This past Saturday, The Viceroy Palm Springs was in action at the city's "Desert AIDS Walk." The hotel donated $5 per every donation submitted for the walk under the Viceroy team. As you can see, Viceroy team members were represented by their yellow t-shirts.
The Desert AIDS Project provides medical care and support services to people in the area living with HIV/AIDs.
