Diamonds may be a girl's best friend, but the Peninsula Beverly Hills hopes ladies will pal around with pearls as well. For Valentine's Day, the hotel's offering Pearls at the Pen, where you'll receive a 18-inch Mikimoto pearl pendant along with a night in a deluxe king-size room.

The pendant features a 7mm, akoya cultured pearl set in an 18-karat white-gold ribbon. It mimics the pink ribbon for breast cancer awareness with one strand studded with .12 carats of rosy-colored sapphires and the other with .03 carats of diamonds. So you will get a little sparkle.
